Uma organização criminosa especializada em extorsões digitais foi desarticulada nesta quinta-feira (27/2) pela Operação Fictus Puella. Ao todo, foram cumpridos sete mandados de busca e apreensão e oito de prisão temporária. Também foram apreendidos computadores, celulares e outros dispositivos eletrônicos.
A ação conjunta contou com o apoio da Diretoria de Operações Integradas e de Inteligência (Diopi) do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública, por meio do Laboratório de Operações Cibernéticas (Ciberlab), da Secretaria Nacional de Segurança Pública (Senasp), e mobilizou as Polícias Civis de São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul e Santa Catarina.
As investigações apontaram que o grupo operava por meio de plataformas de mensageria e redes sociais, onde criavam perfis falsos de mulheres atraentes para atrair as vítimas, obter imagens íntimas e, posteriormente, iniciar a extorsão. Os criminosos se passavam por policiais e advogados para intimidar as vítimas, exigindo dinheiro sob ameaça de exposição pública e falsa incriminação.
No caso sob investigação, a extorsão resultou na morte de um homem de 52 anos, no município de Cruzeiro (SP). Após sofrer intensa pressão psicológica, a vítima tirou a própria vida dentro de uma agência bancária, onde trabalhava. Minutos antes, ela havia realizado uma transferência financeira para os criminosos, que exigiram valores em troca de não divulgarem o conteúdo íntimo. O montante foi distribuído e ocultado por meio de lavagem de dinheiro, dificultando o rastreamento das transações financeiras.
“O caso evidencia o impacto devastador desse tipo de crime”, avaliou o diretor da Diopi, Rodney da Silva. “Os investigados responderão pelos crimes de extorsão qualificada pelo resultado morte, associação criminosa e lavagem de dinheiro, cujas penas podem ultrapassar 20 anos de reclusão”, detalhou.
