Gostaríamos de tornar público que, no início deste ano, fomos convidados pelo senhor prefeito Fabrício Abrantes para uma reunião ocorrida no Gabinete da Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado. Estiveram presentes na ocasião a primeira-dama, Drª Abiara Dias, e o Assessor Jurídico, Dr. Samuel Vitor Meira da Silva.
Durante o encontro, o prefeito Fabrício Abrantes formalizou o convite para que integrássemos, de forma voluntária, um Conselho Consultivo do Município de Brumado. As atribuições desse Conselho seriam contribuir com sugestões para o aprimoramento de políticas públicas, subsidiar o gestor na formulação de projetos, atuar como interlocutores da sociedade, promover diálogos com setores da comunidade, além de sugerir e acompanhar a execução de ações públicas, sempre pautados no interesse da coletividade.
O convite foi aceito por nós, e o prefeito encaminhou o Projeto de Lei nº 2.022/2025, de 19 de fevereiro de 2025, que criou oficialmente o Conselho Consultivo do Município de Brumado, tendo sua aprovação pelo Legislativo Municipal sido concluída.
A formalização do Conselho, que deveria ocorrer por meio da assinatura de um Decreto pelo gestor nomeando seus membros, foi, sem justificativa, protelada até que, em 10 de junho, consensualmente, os membros convidados decidiram pela renúncia coletiva ao participar do Conselho. A referida decisão foi comunicada formalmente ao senhor prefeito e à primeira-dama através do aplicativo WhatsApp.
Mais de quarenta dias após a oficialização da renúncia coletiva, a gestão municipal ainda não se pronunciou oficialmente a respeito. Diante disso, sentimos a necessidade de divulgar este comunicado para esclarecer e formalizar nossa decisão de não participar mais do Conselho Consultivo do Município de Brumado, buscando evitar quaisquer dúvidas quanto à deliberação coletiva tomada por seus membros.
