No último dia 11, o Deputado Federal Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT/BA), recebeu em seu Escritório Regional, em Vitória da Conquista, o prefeito de Maetinga, Sérgio Barros Moreira (PSD), que estava acompanhado do vice-prefeito Idaildo – Dai do Caminhão – Pereira da Silva; do secretário municipal de Obras e Urbanismo, Ananias José dos Santos, além do ex-prefeito Edcarlos Lima Oliveira (PT), para uma reunião que visou ouvir as demandas locais e discutir o desenvolvimento do município e da microrregião. O encontro destacou a importância da colaboração entre os diferentes níveis de Governo para atender às necessidades da população.
Durante a reunião, o Deputado Waldenor Pereira ouviu atentamente as solicitações do prefeito, endossadas pelo ex-prefeito Edcarlos Lima Oliveira, que abordaram questões essenciais para a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos cidadãos. Entre os principais pontos discutidos, destacaram-se as áreas de Saúde e Infraestrutura, que são fundamentais para o progresso e bem-estar da população.
Anunciando um investimento significativo, o Deputado Federal Waldenor Pereira informou que destinou, juntamente com o mandato do Deputado Estadual José Raimundo Fontes (PT), R$ 1,150 milhão em emendas parlamentares para fortalecer essas áreas prioritárias da gestão municipal, Saúde (R$ 750 mil) e Infraestrutura (R$ 400 mil). “É fundamental que trabalhemos juntos para garantir que os recursos cheguem onde são mais necessários. A Saúde e a Infraestrutura são pilares para o desenvolvimento de qualquer município, e estamos, juntamente com o Deputado Zé Raimundo, comprometidos em ajudar Maetinga a avançar”, afirmou o Deputado Waldenor Pereira.
Além do aporte financeiro, Waldenor Pereira também fez a entrega simbólica de uma Ambulância, um Trator Agrícola com Implementos e um veículo para a Administração Municipal. Esses equipamentos são essenciais para melhorar a prestação de serviços à população e apoiar a agricultura local, que desempenha um papel vital na economia do município.
O prefeito Sérgio Barros Moreira (PSD), segundo apurou o JS, expressou sua gratidão pelo apoio e ressaltou a importância da parceria com os Deputados Waldenor Pereira e Zé Raimundo. O gestor teria reforçado que os recursos e equipamentos anunciados pelo parlamentar são fundamentais para que a Administração Municipal possa avançar na melhoria do atendimento à população. Ele agradeceu o Deputado petista por estar sempre presente e por ouvir as demandas da população maetinguense.
A reunião, segundo o ex-prefeito Edcarlos Lima Oliveira – uma das principais lideranças políticas do município – foi um passo importante para fortalecer as relações entre as lideranças locais e os Deputados Waldenor Pereira e Zé Raimundo, importantes parceiros de Maetinga, demonstrando que a união de esforços pode trazer resultados concretos para a comunidade. Com o apoio contínuo dos Deputados petistas, pontuou Edcarlos Oliveira, Maetinga se prepara para resgatar o processo de desenvolvimento e avançar em áreas críticas, garantindo um futuro mais promissor para seus cidadãos.
