O Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), anunciou no último final de semana, em publicação no Diário Oficial do Estado da Bahia, o lançamento do Edital de Chamamento Público nº 006/2025. A medida prevê a construção de três mil unidades habitacionais rurais voltadas a povos e comunidades tradicionais em diversos municípios baianos.
A iniciativa integra o Programa Estadual de Habitação Rural Minha Casa Minha Vida – Bahia (MCMV-BA), criado em 2024 com o objetivo de ampliar o acesso à moradia digna no campo, reduzir o déficit habitacional e fortalecer a permanência das comunidades em seus territórios de origem.
Cada unidade terá cerca de 64 m², com três quartos, sala integrada à cozinha, banheiro, área de serviço e varanda. As residências também contarão com soluções de abastecimento de água e energia. Além da construção física, o Projeto inclui um Plano de Trabalho Social (PTS), voltado ao apoio na gestão dos empreendimentos e no fortalecimento comunitário.
Serão beneficiadas famílias de povos e comunidades tradicionais da zona rural, como Quilombolas, Indígenas, Fundo e Fecho de Pasto, Povos de Terreiros, Pescadores, Marisqueiras, Ciganos, Geraizeiros e Extrativistas.
Segundo o Diretor-Presidente da CAR, Jeandro Laytynher Ribeiro, entre 2015 e 2024 foram entregues 3.329 moradias rurais, com destaque para os Quilombolas. “A moradia digna é um direito social garantido pela Constituição e fundamental para assegurar qualidade de vida e permanência das famílias no campo. Com este Edital, o Governo do Estado reafirma seu compromisso em fortalecer as comunidades tradicionais e reduzir desigualdades sociais e regionais”, afirmou.
O Edital prevê a seleção de Organizações da Sociedade Civil (OSCs) para firmar Termos de Fomento com a CAR. Cada proposta poderá contemplar até 30 unidades habitacionais, sendo vedada a contratação de uma única Entidade para mais de 150 casas. As propostas devem incluir Projeto de Engenharia e Plano de Trabalho Social.
As inscrições devem ser feitas até o dia 21 de novembro de 2025, por meio do site data.car.ba.gov.br/smi. O resultado preliminar será divulgado em 24 de janeiro de 2026.
