O prefeito de Bom Jesus da Lapa, Eures Ribeiro Pereira (PSD), anunciou no último dia 12 que, após solicitação formal, o Governo do Estado confirmou o envio de uma Unidade do SAC Móvel (Serviço de Atendimento ao Cidadão -Móvel), serviço público disponibilizado através da Secretaria de Estado da Administração da Bahia, por meio da Superintendência de Atendimento ao Cidadão, para o município nos próximos dias. A ação tem como foco principal o atendimento aos pescadores locais, que precisam emitir a nova Carteira de Pescador – documento essencial para garantir o acesso ao Seguro-Defeso.
Segundo o gestor municipal, a ausência do documento atualizado pode comprometer o recebimento do benefício por parte de muitos trabalhadores da pesca. “Se não organizarmos agora, os pescadores podem ficar sem o Seguro-Defeso”, alertou Eures Ribeiro, ressaltando a relevância do benefício para os pescadores artesanais de Bom Jesus da Lapa e para a economia local. Segundo o gestor, o benefício representa não apenas uma garantia de renda para centenas de trabalhadores durante o período de proibição da pesca, mas também um importante estímulo financeiro para o município.
O Seguro-Defeso equivale a quatro salários mínimos por ano e pode injetar cerca de R$ 12 milhões na economia local, fortalecendo o comércio e garantindo estabilidade às famílias que dependem exclusivamente da pesca artesanal.
