No sábado e domingo, dias 05 e 06 de abril, Guanambi sediou o 1º Simpósio Regional de Neurodiversidade, um evento inovador que reuniu especialistas, profissionais, familiares e pessoas Neurodivergentes para discutir e promover a inclusão e o respeito às diversas formas de funcionamento cognitivo. Com palestras proferidas por especialistas, o Simpósio teve como objetivo desmistificar a Neurodiversidade e criar um espaço de diálogo e aprendizado.
A Neurodiversidade é um conceito que reconhece as diferentes maneiras como os cérebros humanos podem funcionar. Isso inclui condições como Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA), Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção com Hiperatividade (TDAH), Dislexia e outras variações Neurológicas. O Simpósio destacou a importância de entender essas diferenças não como déficits, mas como parte da rica tapeçaria da experiência humana.
Durante o evento, Especialistas compartilharam suas pesquisas e vivências, enfatizando a relevância da aceitação e do apoio às pessoas Neurodivergentes. Os palestrantes ressaltaram a necessidade de transformar a narrativa relacionada à Neurodiversidade, sugerindo que, em vez de concentrar-se nas dificuldades, é preciso valorizar as habilidades e os potenciais singulares que esses indivíduos oferecem à sociedade.
As palestras abordaram temas como Educação Inclusiva, estratégias de apoio no ambiente de trabalho e a importância do acolhimento familiar. As trocas de experiências geraram insights valiosos e promoveram um espaço de empatia e compreensão.
O Simpósio foi organizado pela Psicóloga guanambiense Juliana Vilas Boas Lelis Lima, Especialista em Terapia Cognitiva Comportamental, que destacou a importância de a sociedade reconhecer as pessoas Neurodivergentes como indivíduos plenos, dotados de sonhos e habilidades. Ela enfatizou que a Neurodiversidade é uma riqueza que deve ser valorizada e acolhida tanto pelas famílias quanto pela comunidade.
Os participantes do Simpósio destacaram a importância do evento para fomentar a inclusão de pessoas Neurodivergentes na sociedade, incentivando que iniciativas incluem a capacitação de educadores e campanhas de conscientização.
Na avaliação da Psicóloga Juliana Vilas Boas Lelis Lima, o 1º Simpósio Regional de Neurodiversidade foi um sucesso, promovendo um espaço de diálogo e aprendizado essencial para a construção de uma sociedade mais inclusiva.
