O mais atual Boletim InfoGripe da Fiocruz aponta que 12 das 27 unidades federativas do país apresentaram incidência de Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave (SRAG) em nível de alerta, risco ou alto risco, nas últimas duas semanas. Pelo boletim, o aumento de SRAG foi apontado nas regiões Norte e Centro-Oeste, sendo impulsionado em grande parte pelo crescimento de casos entre crianças de até dois anos
A alta de SRAG foi apontada principalmente em estados das regiões Norte, como Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima e Tocantins. Já no Centro-Oeste, as UFs são Distrito Federal, Goiás, Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul. Sergipe também registrou alta. Segundo a pesquisadora Tatiana Portella, do Programa Computação Científica da Fiocruz e do Boletim Info Gripe, o aumento possivelmente está associado ao Vírus Sincicial Respiratório (VSR).
Conforme a FioCruz, para quem mora nas regiões Norte ou Centro-Oeste, a orientação é que utilize máscara em locais fechados e em postos de saúde. A orientação é de que as crianças evitem ir à escola caso apresentem sinais e sintomas de gripe ou resfriado. Além disso, é fundamental estar com a vacinação contra a covid-19 atualizada, principalmente as pessoas dos grupos mais vulneráveis.

O InfoGripe mostra, ainda, tendência de crescimento de SRAG no longo prazo, até a Semana Epidemiológica (SE) 11, que abrange o período de 9 a 15 de março.
Além disso, os estados do Amazonas, Goiás e Tocantins também apresentam incidência em nível de alerta, risco ou alto risco, entretanto, com tendência de estabilidade ou oscilação.
Em relação aos casos de SRAG entre os idosos, os pesquisadores apontam uma retomada do crescimento, com incidência em nível moderado em Roraima e Mato Grosso. Já em Tocantins, há indícios de desaceleração no crescimento da Síndrome entre essa parcela da população.
Situação nacional
O cenário atual no país, segundo o InfoGripe, sugere que os casos notificados de SRAG apresentam aumento na tendência de longo prazo e estabilização da tendência de curto prazo. Em 2025, já foram notificados 21.498 casos de SRAG, sendo 7.799, equivalente a 36,3%, com resultado laboratorial positivo para algum vírus respiratório.
Entre os casos positivos, 5,8% de influenza A, 2,1% de influenza B, 19,6% de vírus sincicial respiratório, 27,8% de rinovírus, e 39,8% de Sars-CoV-2 (covid-19). Nas quatro últimas semanas epidemiológicas, a prevalência entre os casos positivos foi de 4,8% de influenza A, 1,1% de influenza B, 30,5% de vírus sincicial respiratório, 36,5% de rinovírus e 26,5% de Sars-CoV-2 (covid-19).
