As bonecas conhecidas como “bebês reborn” são versões hiper-realistas que imitam recém-nascidos, ultrapassaram o universo infantil e conquistaram adultos, influenciadores digitais e até celebridades brasileiras como Xuxa Meneghel, Jojo Todynho e Sabrina Sato.
O Padre Fábio de Melo também aderiu à tendência e em uma viagem aos Estados Unidos, o Padre visitou uma Maternidade de Bonecas e “adotou” um bebê reborn com Síndrome de Down, em homenagem à mãe, Ana Maria de Melo, falecida em 2021.
A tendência se popularizou com vídeos virais de partos simulados e rotinas maternas encenadas. Um dos exemplos mais conhecidos é o vídeo de Carolina Rossi, postado originalmente em 2022, que voltou à tona após um encontro de “mães” de bebês reborn realizado em São Paulo.
É um comportamento saudável?
O envolvimento emocional com os bebês reborn levanta discussões sobre os limites entre o afeto simbólico e o comprometimento psicológico dentro e fora das redes sociais.
De acordo com a Neuropsicóloga Dra. Karliny Uchôa, não se pode generalizar os riscos, é preciso entender cada caso de forma particular.
“A régua para um comportamento ser considerado danoso à saúde mental é a medida em que ele prejudica a saúde física ou mental da pessoa ou de terceiros. Quando isso não ocorre, não podemos falar de prejuízo”, explica.
Apesar disso, a Especialista alerta para casos em que a relação com o boneco ultrapassa o lúdico e passa a interferir na percepção da realidade.
É nesse ponto que pode surgir o que a Psicologia denomina de Síndrome de Annabelle, um quadro caracterizado por obsessão excessiva por bonecos hiper-realistas, com apego emocional intenso, reprodução de vínculos parentais e comprometimento das relações sociais reais.
“A pessoa começa a substituir vínculos afetivos reais por vínculos simbólicos com o boneco, o que pode gerar isolamento, negação de perdas, ou fuga de situações emocionais mal elaboradas”.
“Em casos extremos, deve-se buscar tratamento, acompanhamento psicológico e abordagens terapêuticas voltadas para ressignificação afetiva”, afirma a Dra. Karliny Uchôa.
