A Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado, por meio da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, em parceria com o Instituto Mais Visão, iniciou um Mutirão de Atendimento Oftalmológico no município. A ação oferece exames de vista gratuitos à população e prevê a realização de mais de três mil procedimentos até 15 de março, com o objetivo de reduzir a demanda reprimida e ampliar o acesso aos Serviços de Saúde Ocular.
Os atendimentos estão sendo realizados em uma Unidade Móvel equipada com tecnologia de última geração, capaz de realizar mais de 20 tipos de Exames Oftalmológicos. O veículo está estacionado em frente à Policlínica Municipal Manoel Fernandes dos Santos, no Bairro São Félix, e atende pacientes de diferentes faixas etárias, garantindo diagnósticos mais rápidos e precisos.
O mutirão teve início no último domingo (8) e atende pacientes previamente agendados pelos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde. Entre os procedimentos oferecidos estão Refração, Medição da Pressão Intraocular, Exame de Fundo de Olho e Tomografia de Coerência Óptica (OCT), fundamentais para prevenção, diagnóstico e acompanhamento de doenças oculares.
A iniciativa da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde reforça o compromisso go prefeito Fabrício Abrantes Pires de Souza Oliveira (Avante) em ampliar o acesso à Saúde Especializada e promover a Saúde Visual, contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos brumadenses.
